VIM typer: Use VIM keys in your browser
VIM typer is a free Chrome extension developed by sculpt0r that allows you to use VIM keys for text editing in your browser. Unlike other VIM plugins that focus on navigation, this extension specifically enables the use of VIM keys while typing in input fields.
To enable the VIM keys functionality, simply press the special key combination: "Alt + V" on Windows/Linux or "Right Option + Left Command" on macOS. This key combination can be useful when you don't want VIM typer to interfere with other VIM-like plugins you may have installed.
Keep an eye on the indicator, located as a small red square in the top left corner of your browser. When it turns green, it means that the plugin functions are available for use.
Currently, VIM typer supports the following keys: "h", "j", "k", "l", "e", and "w" (with early support). The developer has plans to introduce more supported keys in the future.
